Textura – Multimedia Art Exhibit

We are excited to announce Naomi Young’s upcoming solo exhibition, “TEXTURA,” which will be showcased at The Main in Newhall from August 6 to September 30, 2024. This exhibition features 25 unique pieces spanning a variety of mediums, including acrylic, oil, watercolor, mosaics, and more. Naomi’s vibrant and diverse artworks reflect her journey as a self-taught artist and her deep connection to her Israeli roots.

Successful Opening of “Domes” Solo Exhibit at the Newhall Library

Old Town Newhall Library Features Works of Israeli Artist Naomi Young

Naomi and PaintingIt was a wonderful evening as about 200 visitors came to view the “DOMES” art exhibit opening at the Newhall Library. It was a festive event with delicious Israeli food and music for the guests.

The “DOMES” solo art exhibit focused upon Jerusalem and its landscapes.

Naomi Young was born and raised in that magical city. In her art, one can experience how she pours her love and yearnings for the city she left 40 years ago into her works. And through these colorful, naive paintings, poetry and mosaic pieces the viewer can share in that joy, wonder and love.

Over 30 works of art will remain on display at the Newhall library until May 12th 2018.

The City of Santa Clarita is inviting residents to meet Naomi Young, the artist featured in the latest exhibit at the Old Town Newhall Library, according to officials.

The meet-and-greet event is scheduled for Jan. 17, and is set to start at 6:30 p.m., according to officials.

“The exhibit features original painting and multimedia by Young, an artist born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel, which translates to ‘The City of Peace,” the news release said.

Forty years ago, she had to leave Jerusalem, the release said of Young. But her love for the city never diminished and can be seen in her artwork on display in the “Domes” exhibit.
